Doha: Emir H H Sheikh Tamim bin Hamad Al Thani has sent a cable of congratulations to Belarus President Alexander Lukashenko on his country’s Independence Day.
Deputy Emir H H Sheikh Abdullah bin Hamad Al Thani also sent a cable of congratulations to Lukashenko.
Prime Minister and Interior Minister H E Sheikh Abdullah bin Nasser bin Khalifa Al Thani sent a similar congratulatory cable to the president.
DOHA: The Department of Agriculture Affairs at the Ministry of Environment inspected 5,897 imported consignments weighing 70219.2 tonnes in June at check points. It destroyed 56 consignments weighing 61.9 tonnes for being infected and for violating quarantine law, Al Raya reports. It also inspected 10 consignment weighing 201.1 tonnes for exports and issued certificates for export and re-export.
