Kuwait: Real Madrid striker Karim Benzema confirmed that Qatar's hosting of the 2022 World Cup will be a source of pride for the Arabs.
Benzema said in remarks on the sidelines of his visit to Kuwait, that 2022 World Cup will be a great honor for Arab countries, noting that he is waiting for a wonderful organization.
Real Madrid striker confirmed that the proximity of the stadiums in Qatar would help the fans to attend the largest number of World Cup matches.
Benzema expressed admiration for Qatar's potential in the field of sports, pointing out that he had visited Doha and participated in a friendly match between Real Madrid and Paris Saint-Germain. (QNA)
