DOHA: Barwa Real Estate Company, one of Qatar’s leading real estate giants, yesterday announced to have accomplished 100 percent bookings of all units of ‘Dara’ project in Lusail, said a statement yesterday.
The project, which started reservations activities on the first day of the ongoing ‘Cityscape Qatar 2014’ exhibition which ends today at Qatar National Convention Centre, managed to lure the crowds — buyers or investors — who were rushing to book units which vary from one-bedroom, two-bedroom, three-bedroom and penthouse “duplex”.
Competitive prices and inspiring designs are among the attraction points of Dara which the developer will complete within three years.
The great strength of Dara is that it offers high-end residential units to investors for the same price of the metre of med-end units being released in the real estate market currently.
The location of Dara in Fox Hills in Lusail and its proximity to World Cup 2022 stadiums increases public enthusiasm about towards it.
Barwa also announced to have inked an agreement with Waseef, its property management arm, as part of Barwa Al Baraha project, the upcoming workers city in the Industrial Area.
Ahmad Al Abdulla, Acting Group CEO, Barwa, and Abdulla Jubara, CEO, Waseef, signed the agreement and Waseef delivers services to lease the second phase of Barwa Al Baraha.
Barwa had received many leasing requests in Al Baraha which releases upon completion around 9,872 rooms to accommodate 53,000 workers.
From its previous collaborations and the excellent performance Waseef showed while handling Dara, this collaboration is expected to be fruitful.
Barwa Al Baraha is a major development for workers in Qatar, which provides accommodation as part of an integrated community which uplifts standards of living for workers and gathers their daily needs in one place, in addition to offering services, amenities, restaurants and playgrounds around the project.
