Al Rayyan players and officials celebrate after defeating Qatar SC in the first semi-final of the Amir Cup Volleyball Tournament at the Aspire Ladies Sports Hall, yesterday. The 15-time champions Al Rayyan won 3-0 (31-29, 25-12, 25-19) and will meet Al Arabi Sports Club, who knocked out defending champions Police Sports Club in straight games (3-0: 25-8, 25-23, 30-28), in the final. This will be the 17th time the two teams meet in the final of the tournament.
