The Doha-based humanitarian funds of the Organisation of Islamic Cooperation (OIC) signed a partnership agreement today with the International Organisation for Migration (IOM) to enhance joint cooperation and unify humanitarian efforts in the Arab world and the world in general and to provide support to the communities sheltering the displaced, refugees and their host countries.
The agreement was signed by Chairman of the Board of Trustees of the Humanitarian Funds Sheikh Dr. Abdulaziz bin Abdulrahman bin Hassan Al Thani, and Chief of Mission of United Nations International Organisation for Migration (IOM) in Qatar Iman Younis Ereiqat.
Chairman of the Board of Trustees of the Humanitarian Funds, in a speech on this occasion, valued the unlimited support of Amir H H Sheikh Tamim bin Hamad Al Thani for international humanitarian work.
