Doha, Qatar: With the beginning of the new calendar year, the Ministry of Foreign Affairs (MoFA) has highlighted a selection of the State of Qatar’s diplomatic achievements during 2025, underscoring its active role in promoting peace and supporting stability at the regional and international levels.
These achievements reflect Qatar’s firm commitment to a foreign policy based on the peaceful resolution of conflicts, dialogue, and mediation, as well as its dedication to enhancing security and advancing sustainable development worldwide, said the Ministry of Foreign Affairs in a series of posts on X platform.
Throughout 2025, the MoFA said that Qatari diplomacy continued to play a constructive role in addressing complex crises and fostering understanding among conflicting parties, reinforcing the country’s position as a trusted and credible international partner.
In a post, the MoFA shared a quote of Prime Minister and Minister of Foreign Affairs H E Sheikh Mohammed bin Abdulrahman bin Jassim Al-Thani: “Through its quiet diplomacy and well-established global credibility, Qatar has now become a model to be emulated in the benevolent pursuit of resolving complex conflicts through dialogue and peaceful means, while also working to prevent their outbreak through preventive diplomacy.”
The Ministry of Foreign Affairs, in another post, shared a quote of Minister of State at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs H E Dr. Mohammed bin Abdulaziz bin Saleh Al Khulaifi: “The State of Qatar has been deeply engaged in responding to numerous requests from partners around the world seeking a Qatari role in mediation and the resolution of disputes between conflicting parties.
"We have been involved in files across both East and West without geographical limitation, and I believe this is one of the defining features of the Qatari approach: Qatar places no geographic constraints on its efforts to address various conflicts, despite their complexity and, at times, the deep-rooted nature of disputes that may have persisted for years between the parties.”
