Doha: The General Directorate of Traffic has announced the specifications of the tanks colors loading various kinds of liquefied content.
These new color specification will become effective from Sunday (January 7). The Traffic Department has announced these new color specifications for loader tanks in a tweet.
According to new specifications drinking water tanks will be painted in blue and white, sewage tanks complete yellow, irrigation water tanks will be painted in green color, waste oil tankers will be black and white and the loader tanks carrying bitumen will be completely black.
The rear side of all loader tanks should be painted in red and white straps. With the announcement, a picture has also been shared on the department's social media accounts. This new rule will come into effect from January 7 (Sunday).
