kolkata: Retired Supreme Court judge and West Bengal Human Rights commission chairman Ashok Ganguly yesterday tendered his resignation as guest lecture of the National University of Juridical Sciences (NUJS) stating he had decided to ‘opt out’ from the post.
The move came after NUJS Vice-Chancellor P Iswara Bhat told mediapersons that the university has already dissociated from Justice Ganguly after he was indicted by the SC appointed panel for alleged sexual harassment of a law intern, also a former student of the institute.
