Doha: Birla Public School (BPS) participated in a virtual awareness seminar regarding the Juvenile Police Department's functions and services, conducted by the Public Relations Department of the Ministry of Interior (MoI).
The Department's sections and work mechanism in dealing with juvenile cases and awareness on most vulnerable cybercrimes by the children were explored in the seminar.
The seminar was conducted in two slots. The first slot was for students, while the other slot was dedicated to teachers. The event was done through Zoom video conferencing. The facilitators for the sessions were Capt. Shaeen Rashid Al Dosari and Faisal Hudawi.
Around 50 students and teachers attended the seminar, which aims to introduce the students between ages 7 to 16 to the Juvenile Police Department's functions and services in Qatar.
