Doha Bank in deal with Global IME Bank to offer instant remittances to Nepal

Doha Bank has forged arrangements with Global IME Bank (GIBL), one of the leading commercial bank in Nepal, to offer on-the-go remittance solutions to Nepalese expats residing in Qatar.

The new online service, will enable Doha Bank customers to transfer money instantly to their GIBL bank accounts. Customers will also able to remit money to their other Nepalese bank accounts and get credit on same banking day in Nepal before 12.00 noon (cut off time)

“To promote digital remittance amongst its customers, Doha Bank’s collaboration with GIBL will give Nepalese customers the access to remit money to Nepal whenever and wherever they want by registering for International Money Transfer via Doha Bank’s mobile app and online banking portal” stated Mohammad Abdulla M.J.
