AMMAN, Jordan: Qatar’s U-15 fencing team won the gold medal after a convincing 36 – 22 victory over hosts Jordan at the Arab Championship 2016 taking place in Amman, Jordan on Friday.
Qatari fencing team booked their place in the final after a comfortable 36-19 victory over United Arab Emirates in the semifinals.
Qatar fencing delegation to the event consists of Zamil Khleiwi Al Shamari, Head of delegation, Yahaya Qassim (Administrator) Ziyad Al Firyyan (technical expert), Hosham Krshod (senior coach) beside the fencers.
