Greetings sent to Vietnam

Doha: The Emir H H Sheikh Tamim bin Hamad Al Thani sent a cable of greetings to the president of the Socialist Republic of Vietnam on the occasion of his country’s National Day. The Prime Minister and Interior Minister H E Sheikh Abdullah bin Nasser bin Khalifa Al Thani also sent a cable of greetings to the 

Vietnamese President on same occasion.

Envoy meets Hungary official

 

Budapest: Director of Department of Foreign Affairs, Office of the President of Hungary Laszlo Szoke met here yesterday Qatar’s Ambassador to Hungary Abdullah Hussein Al Jaber. They reviewed bilateral relations and ways of enhancing them in various fields.

Al Ijarah takes over Al Nasr driving school

 

DOHA: The Al Ijarah Holding has fully acquired  Al Nasr Modern Driving School. The acquisition is to consolidate Al Ijarah Limousine, the company’s subsidiary that operates taxi services, Al Sharq reported yesterday quoting Qatar Exchange website.

The acquisition would lead to upgrading the standards of the driving school with more advanced facilities and qualified trainers, it added.

ExxonMobil holds training for RasGas staff

 

DOHA: ExxonMobil Qatar conducted a two-day training course for RasGas Company Limited (RasGas) professionals who have technical and managerial responsibilities related to risk management. Held at RasGas’ Ras Laffan Industrial City training centre this summer, the course is the latest in a series of trainings offered under the Tamayoz programme, which was launched by ExxonMobil Qatar. 

Developed to prepare participants to lead and facilitate risk assessments using techniques outlined in ExxonMobil’s Operations Integrity Management System (OIMS), the course specifically addressed a target audience of professionals. Department managers, operations superintendents and process engineers were among the course attendees.
