Doha International Center for Interfaith Dialogue (DICID) and Qatar Youth Hostels Association (QYH) signed a cooperation agreement on Tuesday at DICID building.
The agreement was signed by Dr Ibrahim Saleh Al Nuaimi, the DICID Board Chairman, and Eng. Mohammed Mahdi Al Yami, Executive Director of QYH, in the presence of other officials from DICID and QYH.
This agreement aims to strengthen their partnership in terms of youth’s cultural and social activities.
It also aims to support their initiatives which build friendship and values of tolerance in between them.
Al Yami praised the cooperation between the two sides in the youth sectors in organising conferences and dialogues to serve the State of Qatar and the Qatari community.
Dr Al Nuaimi said during the event: “QYH is an international organisation and we share the same objectives which includes cultural activities for different nationalities people to exchange and enrich their experiences.”
He further expressed his confidence that such agreements and joint activities will be more exclusive.
This will increase various cultural, youth and social interests among young people in Qatar and internationally as well.
Al Yami said: “QYH is a part of a ‘Global Youth Movement’ which always seeks to develop its partnership with many stakeholders in order to serve people with respect to their humanitarian rights. We both QYH and DICID same the similar goals.”
QYH looks for different channels to dialogue in a country where various communities through these agreements and partnerships in order to build effective partnerships that contribute to the global peace movement and support Qatar’s efforts in the service of peace at the international level.
