Doha: Dar Al Sharq for Printing, Publishing and Distribution recently published a book titled "Qatar and the Road to the World Cup... Aspirations and Challenges" by Dr. Ali Shaddad Al Qahtani.
The book, published in six languages, Arabic, English, French, Spanish, Portuguese, and German, highlighted the facilities prepared by the State of Qatar to host the FIFA World Cup Qatar 2022, starting with preparing the hosting file, passing through the huge preparations to host this major global event, including the construction of eight new stadiums for this tournament, with international standards, the road, and transportation network that guarantees safe access to stadiums, hotels and hotel apartments, and all facilities and services that accommodate the World Cup audience in Qatar.
The book dealt with the most important challenges faced by the State of Qatar since the preparation of the file until now, reviewing how Qatar has overcome all these challenges to prepare for this global event.
The book also talked about everything that interests the reader to know about the State of Qatar, which will host the FIFA World Cup Qatar 2022, as well as football and the history of the World Cup, and how the idea began through its development through its 21 tournaments.
