Minsk: Belarussian President Alexander Lukashenko yesterday met Minister of State for Defence Affairs and Cabinet Member H E Major General Hamad bin Ali Al Attiyah who is on a visit to the country. The Minister conveyed greetings of Emir H H Sheikh Tamim bin Hamad Al Thani and his wishes of health and happiness to the president and progress and prosperity to Belarus.
Luksahenko entrusted the Minister with greetings to the Emir, wishing him health and happiness and the leadership and people of Qatar more progress and prosperity.
Talks dealt with relations between both countries, ways of enhancing them and matters of mutual interest, particularly in military affairs.
