Qatar Meteorology Department forecasts weather for Eid Al Fitr holidays

Doha: Qatar Meteorology Department gave a summary of the weather forecast for the coming holidays.

The department predicted that the weather would be hot during the daytime with some high clouds.

Wind expected to be mostly easterly to southeasterly ranging between 5 to 15 kt gusting to 18 Kt at times, causing a gradual rise in relative humidity with a chance of mist in some areas during dawn time of Monday, Tuesday and Wednesday (June 3 to 5) accompanied with a drop in visibility below 2 km at times.

Sea state expected to be suitable for marine activities with wave height ranging between 1 to 3 Ft rising to 5 Ft at times in northern areas.

Temperatures expected to be around their normal range with maximums ranging between mid thirties to early forties in most areas.

However, the "feels like" temperature expected to be higher due to high relative humidity especially along coastal areas. Qatar Meteorology Department urges all to avoid direct sunlight as well as to follow latest updates through it's official social media accounts.
