The Permanent Representative of Qatar to the United Nations (UN) H E Sheikha Alya bint Ahmed bin Saif Al Thani opened the expanded meeting regarding Afghanistan organised by the Permanent Mission of Qatar to the UN in cooperation with the missions of Canada and the United Kingdom at the headquarters of Qatar’s Permanent Mission in New York.
Deputy Secretary-General of the UN H E Amina Mohammed and permanent delegates and representatives of the member countries of the Group of Friends of Afghanistan and the Group of Friends of Women in Afghanistan attended the meeting.
