Under the leadership of Dr. Sheikha Aisha Bint Faleh Al Thani, Chairperson of Al Faleh Educational Holding, AFG College with the University of Aberdeen, has been successful in assuming a pivotal role in the advancement of the education sector in the state of Qatar.
That astounding feat has been achieved thanks in part to the college’s highly-advanced educational and academic services provided, and in another to the pioneering role it plays in constantly pushing the educational needle forward.
In line with their unwavering commitment to enriching their students’ educational and academic experiences, AFG College with the University of Aberdeen has announced that it will soon introduce a new Post-graduate program, LLM International Commercial Law. Students will be granted the chance to enrol come April of this year, and the program will allow graduates, as well as lawyers and contract managers with a legal background to revel in the premium learning opportunities the program will provide, as well as the chance to receive a prestigious, advanced degree that is recognized internationally.

We have identified several key areas for expansion and academic development, and so it was clear to us that introducing a post-graduate degree in International Commercial Law was important in the advancement of the educational services that we provide.” said Dr. Sheikha Aisha bint Faleh Al Thani.
New state-of-the-art campus to accommodate robust enrollment demands. The university has also divulged its future expansion plans, which include setting up a new campus in Al Daayen District. The new campus will allow the university to accommodate the robust number of students that apply every year. There are currently over 610 enrolled students, 415 in undergraduate programs and 195 in postgraduate programs.
“The influx of applications from students that wish to enroll in our programs each year is frankly astounding. That is a clear sign of the success of our operations and a testament to the efficiency of our educational and academic services. However, that has also driven us to further expand our campus, and that propelled us to collaborate with the University of Aberdeen on developing a new campus in Al Daayen District,” said Dr. Sheikha Aisha.
The new state-of-the-art campus will reflect both the University of Aberdeen’s standards and that of Al Faleh Educational Holding and their penchant for the highest of qualities. The campus’ design will reflect the harmonious marriage between the east and the west, and will house the university’s various schools which include: engineering, business, social studies, and health studies. The new campus will also provide students with exceptional amenities that aim to enrich their academic experiences.
AFG College to offer a graduate program with a focus on real-estate. AFG College with the University of Aberdeen is currently investigating whether there’s a significant demand for a real-estate management degree, and if there is, the university plans to launch it in September, pending approval from the Ministry of Education and Higher Education . “AFG has always assumed a pioneering role in the development of Qatar’s various sectors, and with the introduction of the new real-estate graduate program, we will help enrich that sector with local, academic talents that will contribute proactively to the development of the country’s infrastructure and will help us actualize H H Sheikh Tamim Bin Hamad Al Thani, Amir of the state of Qatar’s vision for 2030,” stated Dr. Sheikha Aisha.
AFG College with the University of Aberdeen hosts 3rd annual sports day event
For the 3rd consecutive year, and in line with its commitment to championing better health and sports culture in Qatar, AFG College with the University of Aberdeen has announced its annual Sports Day activities which will take place on February 11, in partnership with NBK Holding and Al Waab City. The event will host 800 participants who have enrolled, and will provide various family-oriented, entertaining activities. Sponsors like Doha insurance have lent their support to the occasion, and others like Bounce and Phiit Studio will provide entertaining trampoline-centered activities, and cross-fit experiences to the attendees, respectively. Harley Davidson, one of the event’s sponsors, will provide visual entertainment. The 2nd iteration of annual Women’s Day Conference to be held in March. Dr. Sheikha Aisha bint Faleh Al Thani has long been a champion of women in the workforce, and has helped tremendously in inspiring more women to become proactive forces in the development of the country’s various sectors, and So, AFG College with the University of Aberdeen has announced its plans to host its second annual women’s International Day Conference on March 8.
The conference aims to highlight the role played by women in enriching the country’s economy. The conference will host prominent female keynote speakers who will share their success stories, and their journey to assuming proactive roles in their societies with the audience.
