DOHA: Twenty-four major organisations and companies will mark National Sport Day (NSD) on February 10 in Aspire Zone Foundation’s (AZF) 2.5sqkm facilities.
RasGas Company and the National Human Rights Committee (NHRC) have chosen to celebrate the NSD at Aspire Zone for the fourth year running. Both companies have lined up a series of fun-filled activities and sport competitions, and have encouraged the employees and their families to engage enthusiastically in sport activities during the day. On the other hand, Lekhwiya, Qatar Petroleum (QP) and Qatar Stock Exchange (QSE) have opted for Aspire Zone to mark the this year’s sport day in order to enjoy the wide range of facilities and exceptional services offered by AZF.
Fourteen companies and organizations are planning a wide range of activities for members of the public. These include Lekhwiya, Maersk Oil, Action on Diabetes, Al Ta’adhod Group (GREE Air Conditioners), Qatar Cycling Federation, Qatar Development Bank, Al Noor Institute for the Blind, Ministry of Energy and Industry, Qatar Women’s Sports Committee, Qatar Football Association, Sidra Medical and Research Center, the Cultural and Social Center for People with Special Needs, Sports Corner and Abdullah Abdulghani & Bros. Co.
Additional 10 organizations and companies will organize activities for their staff members and their families including QP, RasGas, QSE, NHRC, Hemaya Security Services, Qatar Chemical and Petrochemical Marketing and Distribution Company (Muntajat), ORYX GTL, Msheireb Properties, the Supreme Council of Health and the Supreme Committee for Delivery & Legacy.
