Buenos Aires: The President of the Argentine Football Association (AFA) Claudio Tapia praised Qatar University's (QU) efforts, as it was the base camp of the Argentine national team during the FIFA World Cup Qatar 2022.
In a press conference on Tuesday, Tapia said that QU's efforts since the arrival of the Argentine team to Qatar made it possible for the team to present its best performance and secure the trophy.
The Argentine national team chose QU as its base camp during the FIFA World Cup Qatar 2022, as the university owns three open sports complexes that provide the opportunity to practice sports in the open air.
