Cairo: Palestinian President Mahmoud Abbas and Colombian President Gustavo Petro discussed the latest developments in the occupied Palestinian territories during a meeting in Cairo on Sunday.
The Palestinian News Agency (WAFA) reported that Abbas affirmed his country's commitment to strengthening Palestinian-Colombian relations in various fields.
For his part, the Colombian president reiterated Colombia's support for a ceasefire in Gaza, the release of all prisoners, the provision of humanitarian aid, the achievement of a comprehensive peace, and the attainment of freedom and independence for the Palestinian people.
