9to5.ai, the cutting-edge Qatar-based startup is set to disrupt the region’s talent hiring industry ecosystem. The Artificial Intelligence (AI)-powered startup is fast changing the way talent finds jobs and solves the talent hunt problems in Mena.

Currently, the job seekers are sick of the long time they take to apply, to hear back from potential employers as hiring managers have to filter through thousands of unqualified applicants.  The AI-powered 9to5.ai helps automate the recruiting process by creating better matches, resulting in a faster-easier-cheaper-happier hiring process, claims 9to5.ai’s Co-Founder and a rising entrepreneur Ahmed Mohamed Isse.

Speaking to The Peninsula yesterday, Ahmed, who would like to describe himself as a Growth Marketer, said   the hybrid model 9to5.ai can mesh together job boards and traditional recruiters, creating a tool where companies can get matched almost instantly to top talent that will match their requirements by over 99 percent, and candidates can get job offers straight to their inbox without applying.

“9to5.ai is a talent marketplace using artificial intelligence to match companies and their open roles to top talent who are actively looking for jobs, or open to move for the right opportunity, that they’ve sourced and pre-vetted.

“Thanks to our AI-powered platform, we change the recruiting landscape for the better. We provide assistance from beginning to end, from sourcing, qualifying, AI-enabled opportunity matching and scheduling,” he said.

On traditional job boards, people will come and just apply. The traditional way is receiving the resume and vetting it before getting the candidates actually on board, which will takes months. Another problem faced by the hiring companies is that only 2 percent of the registered talents have relevancy to the target jobs.

“We are here to disrupt this long, time consuming process by using algorithm and AI. We can offer the hiring industry highly qualified candidates whom exactly they are looking for,” Ahmed said.

Launched in 2018, 9to5.ai, was founded by a three-member team including Ahmed. The founders came together from different backgrounds of engineering, business consulting, and from the nyc tech world, but with one united vision to help companies in Mena grow with better talent both locally and abroad. A rising entrepreneur, born and raised in Qatar, Ahmed’s parents came from

Somalia over 30 years ago. He attended the College of North Atlantic in Qatar and studied in Information systems.

With major expansion plans, 9to5.ai is currently looking to  raise Series A funding. Series A funding is the first round of institutional funding that could be led by one or more investors.
