Al Dana Restaurant at Sharq Village & Spa was picked as the “Best Seafood Restaurant in Doha”, while Parisa won the “Best Mena” award and Al Jalsa was honoured as “High Commended Café” during the fifth Time Out Doha Restaurant Awards held recently.
Al Dana offers a blend of French, Mediterranean and Asian techniques and flavours. The chef’s culinary brilliance is highlighted with dishes on the menu such as the fisherman’s platter of Maine lobster, king crab, shrimp and mussels served on ice with fresh lemon, salmon fillet en papillote with braised fennel and a trio of oyster shooters. The daily selection features whole fish prepared to your liking; the chef recommends salmon either steamed with soy, ginger and cilantro or baked with lemon comfit and rosemary.
Al Dana includes a show kitchen and sushi counter where diners can follow the preparation of their meal. For a more relaxed and al fresco environment, the outdoor terrace, offers stunning views over Doha bay, and make for a casual dining gathering spot for evening cocktails and stargazing.
