Doha: Ooredoo yesterday launched unlimited data offer, in time for the international football season, with new Shahry Unlimited Mobile Broadband subscribers receiving their first month’s data for free.
The offer will give new Shahry Unlimited Mobile Broadband subscribers, or data subscribers who upgrade to the Unlimited pack, the first month of their subscription for free, saving QR400.
The latest offer aims at keeping people up-to-date with latest action, allowing them to stream matches on-the-go and support their teams on social media without worrying about the cost.
The promotion, which runs until June 20, is valid for one month from the date customers activate the pack.
“We have introduced a range of services for our customers during the football season, as we want to make sure all the excitement is available to them.
“This offer will give our Mobile Broadband users the chance to get interactive with events, and have all the action of the tournament available at their fingertips,” said Fatima Sultan Al Kuwari, Director Community & Public Relations.
Ooredoo’s Mobile Broadband bundles are available on a month by month basis for Shahry customers, and all costs will be added to their monthly bills.
Once the first month is over, customers can continue to take advantage of unlimited data for QR400 per month.
Through this offer, customers can take full advantage of the 4G network, by streaming, downloading, posting to social media sites and transferring documents online at high speeds, with unlimited amounts of free data.

To upgrade, customers can also call 111. Shahry data packs also come in QR60 for 1GB, QR80 for 3GB, and QR100 for 6GB. The 4G network provides access to the fastest mobile Internet speeds in Qatar.
