Mannai Corporation net profit rises by 260% to QR33m in Q1

Mannai Corporation (MCCS) has announced a net profit of QR33m for the first quarter ended March 31, 2021, an increase of 260 percent or QR54m compared to the same period in 2020, which was impacted by the COVID-19 related closures which restricted trading during the year.

The Company reported a 35 percent growth in first quarter revenues to QR3.6bn compared to the first quarter of 2020. EBITDA during the period grew to QR270m, an increase of 44 percent compared to the first quarter last year.

Earnings Before Interest and Tax increased by 63 percent to QR150m. Keith Higley, Director of Mannai Corporation, said: “We are pleased to report a solid bottom line of QR33m, with all our major business lines showing a rebound following the challenging year of 2020.”
