MES Indian School won the overall championship trophy in the Qafco Flower show 2015, hosted by the Qatar Fertilizer Company (Qafco) recently held at the Al Banush Club, Mesaieed.
The school also won the first, second and third positions in the “J” (stands for schools) and cash awards in “K” (stands for environment) categories, respectively.
The exhibits were prepared under the guidance of the Department of Visual Arts.
The competitions were open to schools, institutions and professionals and MES bagged 10 trophies, cash prices and certificates in many of the categories to its credit.
About 37 students participated in the competitions from all the sections of the school.
School officials, parents, teachers and students were present on the occasion.
