Doha: Under the patronage of Sheikh Nawaf Nasser bin Khaled Al Thani, Chairman & CEO, Nasser Bin Khaled Holding, the owners of Megamart have opened their new flagship store at 01 Mall in Abu Hamour.
With an extensive floor area of 28,000sqft, the store hopes to attract a distinct clientele of those who live in and around the area and others from Doha and plans to offer a premium shopping experience to all.
Speaking at the opening ceremony, Devi Das Aswani, General Manager, Megamart, said: “Even though Abu Hamour has a sizable number of Qatari and expatriate families living here, there were no supermarkets which could offer the local population a wide variety of products and exemplary service. Considering this, we decided to open our biggest store here and aim to set a very high benchmark”.
The new Megamart will have customary sections for fresh fruits, vegetables, fish and meat, which are popular among existing customers who frequently visit various branches throughout the country.
