Doha: The State of Qatar expressed Friday its strong denouncement and condemnation of the series of explosions that targeted the French embassy, The Institute Francais and the military headquarters in Burkina Faso which left scores of people either dead or injured.

The Ministry of Foreign Affairs renewed in a statement today the State of Qatar's firm position in rejecting violence and terrorism regardless of its motives.

The statement also expressed the State of Qatar's condolences to the families of the victims, the government and people of Burkina Faso, wishing the injured a speedy recovery.
