Doha: Indulging in adventurous and playful activities is always a best moment for kids, whose imaginations creep upon realms of fantasy. By building up their fantasy, the things they enjoy through these fictitious moments even give them a feel of reality.

We can see kids, cupping their chins in their hands and wonderfully watching animation cartoons on the television, which is a common sight in a home where kids are there. Cartoons are somehow the best way to create fantasies in kids and what if they get a chance to tangibly feel the fantasies seen in the cartoons?

At the Centre Court of Doha Festival City, you can see an activity zone for kids, where these playful moments can be fulfilled. This activity zone was launched by Doha Festival City in partnership with the leading kids channel, Cartoon Network, on December 16 and set to end today.

Influenced by American animated television series created by Pendleton Ward, the activity zone is named as Adventure Time and themed as Land of Ooo, which is the home continent of the characters in the Adventure Time.

The kids aged between 4 and 12 can only use this zone, which features an array of activities like arts and crafts, maze, mini golf, screenings of fan-favourite episodes and opportunities to try the Adventure Time: Magic Man’s Head VR game. All these activities were housed within special zones such as Jake’s Labyrinth, Candy Kingdom, Wild Berry Kingdom, Cloud Kingdom, Ice Kingdom, Lumpy Space Kingdom, and Fire Kingdom. These are the various kingdoms seen in this adventurous cartoon series.

The Cloud Kingdom was a zone, where kids could relax on a cloud of bean bags to watch episodes from the popular Cartoon Network show. Kids can also race on Adventure Time themed space hoppers and work their way through the web of Jake’s long shapeshifting arm and high-five Jake at the end. In the Ice Kingdom, the kids can build their own icebergs by adding pieces onto a free standing iceberg background.

“Adventure Time marks our last activities for this year with Cartoon Network’s series activations. We are committed in bringing innovative and creative family focused activities. We have amazing plans for our mall’s visitors and more rewarding activations to our Kids Club members in 2019,” said May Marzooq, senior marketing manager of Doha Festival City.
