Doha: Qatar KMCC Eranad Constituency committee welcomed P. K. Basheer, Member of Kerala Legislative Assembly who visited Qatar for the World Cup.
He arrived at the stadiums wearing Kerala traditional attire for the Qatar-Ecuador opening match, Argentina-Saudi Arabia and Brazil-Serbia matches.
He praised the facilities and infrastructure provided by Qatar authorities for football fans.
He praised the organisers’ approach and reception towards the fans who come to watch the football matches.
He also said that he will be in Qatar to watch the semi-final and final matches.
KMCC Eranad Constituency President Ajmal Areekode presided over the function.
General Secretary Ahmed Niyas Moorkanad welcomed the gathering. District Secretary Muhammed Layis Kuniyil, Office bearers Abdul Manaf, Safeerussalam, Abdul Hameed, Faiz Elayodan, Nooruddeen, Ashraf KE, Firose Chaliyar, Abdur Rahman Salih Thangal, Kizhuparamp Panchayat Office bearers Abdul Jabbar and Raneesh spoke on the occasion.
