Al Sheehaniya Municipality carried out an inspection campaign on illegal street vendors in Mekaines on Friday. The action was taken in coordination with the Ministry of Commerce and Industry, General Cleanliness Department, Police of Mekaines and Fazaa.
During the campaign, the area was cleared of all residues left by street vendors, Ministry of Municipality and Environment said in a statement. The campaign is part of the efforts of Al Sheehaniya Municipality in cooperation with the authorities concerned in the country to reduce the violations of street vendors in order to preserve public health and prevent distortion of the public landscape.
