Al Sadd trounce Muaither in QSL

Doha: Al Sadd trounced Muaither 5-1 while Qatar Sports Club and Al Arabi registered wins over Al Sailiya and Al Wakra to pick up full points in the round 10 matches of the Qatar Stars League (QSL) here yesterday. 
The defending champions went into the half time break with a 1-0 lead but returned to pump in  four goals against the QSL debutants.
With yesterday win, their sixth,  Al Sadd took their points tally to 21 points, three less than leaders Eljaish.
In the other matches, Al Wakra failed to convert a sixth minute penalty while going down 2-0 to Arabi SC.
Al Arabi now have 12 points from ten matches. 
Elsewhere, Qatar SC rallied from behind to down Al Sailiya 2-1, while two-time champions Lekhwiya were held to a goalless draw by Al Rayyan.
