DOHA: Dr Yousuf Al Qaradawi, prominent Qatar-based Islamic scholar and head of the International Union of Muslim Scholars has been hospitalised in Jeddah.
He went to Saudi Arabia to perform Haj. Quoting a statement issued by Qaradawi’s office in Doha, Al Sharq said yesterday that he developed a cold after he completed the Haj pilgrimage. No further details about the illness were given.
