PTI celebrates graduation of 9th batch

The Police Training Institute (PTI), celebrated the graduation of the ninth batch of new policemen, which was held at the institute over a period of 16 weeks, with 356 students enrolled.

The course aimed to prepare, qualify and transfer participants from civil status to military status to carry out their jobs efficiently and effectively by providing them with legal, administrative and police-related information, and providing them with the necessary skills needed for police work.

The course came in the framework of implementing the Ministry of Interior’s rehabilitation and training plan for the year 2021, where the course participants underwent a 16-week preparation and training period, which included a theoretical and a field curriculum.

The theoretical curriculum included studying the principles of penal law, the duties and powers of the police officer, the law of military service, police communications, human rights, and body language, while field exercises included infantry, infantry with weapons, weapons and shooting, physical fitness, and self-defence.
