Doha: Aspire Academy trainee Sayed Azlan overcame experienced campaigner Mohamed El Said 3-0 to win the professional title of the 14th Radisson Blu & Olympic Squash Championship here yesterday.
The 18-year-old Azlan won the first game comfortably at 11-4, but El Said bounced to make a fight in the next two.
El Said, who has been playing the game for almost a quarter century, rallied from 6-2 down to tie the scores at 7-all.
Azlan, however bounced back to take the game at 11-7.
In the third game, the youngster galloped to a 8-3 lead but thereafter flattered. El Said clawed back to tie the score at ten-all but Azlan had the last laugh.The Peninsula
