DOHA: Doha Downtown, the newest luxury hotel apartments in Qatar formally opens today offering its customers inexpensive yet cozy stay with all of its comfortable amenities.
Located on Al Kinana Street at the heart of Al Sadd, Doha Downtown accommodates 142 rooms with 21 studios, 82 one-bedroom apartments and 39 two-bedroom units complemented with high quality fitness gym and fully equipped indoor and outdoor facilities that are open 24 hours.
Already, customers have been frequenting Doha Downtown since its soft opening last July to get the feel of its excellent services with a mix of classic lifestyle and modern living.
“We are happy to get 60 percent occupancy after the soft opening,” said Khalid Bardawil, Director of Al Bandary Food and Beverage and Hotel Management which developed Doha Downtown. He said it took them more than a year of fully refurbishing the design of the hotel.
Indeed, he added, the new hotel will set new standards for guests who will take short and long-term stays. He assured that services will be offered with a personal touch from its highly-trained staff and the great thought put into the smallest details.
Apart from a growing number of check-in guests, Bardawil said the three spacious restaurants— a la’ carte Lebanese dining place offering Korean-Japanese, Arabic and other popular cuisines and the Java U café which is popular in Canada with a free Wi-Fi hotspot —has already become a favorite meeting place from customers of different nationalities.
What makes Doha Downtown unique from the rest are the facilities and service offering a full range of luxury accommodation with a boutique touch. Other services include valet parking and a fully equipped spa offering a range of treatments.
The Waterfall Spa offers a range of facilities including sauna, steam room and Jacuzzi as well as four treatment rooms and a range of massages and other therapies on offer.
