Doha: Al-Rayyan Municipality ordered the closure of Beevi's restaurant in the Al-Rayyan for seven days for selling food that is unfit for consumption.
The Ministry of Municipality took the administrative decision to close the restaurants for violating Law No 8 of 1990 regarding the regulation of human food control.
The Ministry routinely conducts inspections and takes action against violators. The list of violators and the duration of punishment are listed on their website.
When the closure notice is issued, it is not permissible to open the closed shop or to carry out any activity or maintenance, and a violation will entail criminal liability, warned the ministry.
