Doha: Galfar Al Misnad has been awarded the prestigious RoSPA Gold Health and Safety Award 2022 from the Royal Society for the Prevention of Accidents (RoSPA), for demonstrating high health and safety standards in 2021, and working hard to ensure their employees are kept safe at their workplace.
The award was given at the glittering RoSPA award ceremony held in Dubai recently, where top companies in the region were felicitated for their health and safety achievements. The gala event included guest speakers and an opening address from RoSPA President Baroness Jolly, and Chief Executive Officer, Errol Taylor, who handed over the award to Galfar’s Corporate HSE Manager, Venkatesan Kulandaivelu.

This is the second RoSPA award for Galfar Al Misnad. The leading Qatari contractor had received the RoSPA Silver Award in 2021 for their safety performance and HSE initiatives taken during the year 2020. The further upgrading of their HSE activities and initiatives in 2021 led to the RoSPA Gold Award in 2022.
The Royal Society for the Prevention of Accidents (RoSPA) is a non-profit organization based in the UK that recognizes organizations worldwide for their efforts in Health and Safety.
