Children of North Indians' Association members participating in the Baisakhi Family Fiesta.
The North Indians’ Associatio (NIA) recently celebrated a family event “Baisakhi Family Fiesta 2017”. The event was attended by more than 125 members along with their families creating homely and family atmosphere.
The highlight of the event was the cultural presentation by the members and their children. Excellent performance by kids and adult members were well appreciated by the gathering. A special presentation by professional performer Bhavna Naik enthralled the audience.
Kids who put up excellent performance in these events were Samarjit Sarkar, Vatsal Babbar, Akshin, Ahaan, Sonakshi, Suhani Jain, Sneha Ranjan, Aashna Bahl, Sakshi Lalwani, Sakshi Sukhnani and Varun Gupta. Adult members who weaved their magic by superb dancing and melodious singinng were Moksha Gupta, Anshu Jain, Mamta Babbar and Abhijeet Sarkar.
NIA Chairman Mukesh Singh welcomed the gathering while Vice-President Sanjay Arora introduced the programme. Sanjay Arora on behalf of the managing committee congratulated newly elected President Sudhir Gupta on his appointment and conveyed the message on his behalf assuring the members to carry on the legacy set by his predecessors and to set new benchmark for North Indians’ Association. The new members were welcomed and introduced by the MC. All the participants were presented with certificates and gifts to children.
The programme ended with all the members dancing to the tunes of DJ Shamim on his non-stop Panjabi mix and other dance tapping numbers.
