Doha: The Ministry of Labour announced a three-day Eid al-Fitr vacation for workers in private sector establishments.
In a statement on Twitter, the Ministry stated that the "Eid al-Fitr vacation for workers in private sector establishments subject to the Labour Law is three days, fully paid."
The Ministry also further mentioned that provisions relating to overtime work and allowances, set forth in Article (74) of the Labour Law, shall be applied if work conditions require the worker to be employed during the Eid holiday.
The Ministry also expressed its congratulations to all employers and workers on the occasion of Eid Al-Fitr.
