Doha: Qatar Exchange closed in the green area yesterday by adding 50.64 points more to advance to 12,677.59 points from 12,626.95 on Tuesday, a rise of 0.40 percent.
The volume of the shares traded up at 27,574,717 from 18,771,752 on Tuesday and the value of shares increased to QR1,107,872,113.26 from QR780,816,042.56 Tuesday.
Among the top gainers were Qatar Islamic Bank which was up 1.41 percent to QR86.10, Doha Bank gained 2.69 percent to QR64.90, Masraf Al Rayan added 1.90 percent to QR48.30 and Islamic Insurance up by 2.02 percent to QR75.90.
