Doha: A celebration of World Wildlife Day is this week’s theme at Lusail’s Drive-in Cinema of Doha Film Institute, in partnership with Qatar Tourism.

Dubbed “Wild at Heart” series, it features three films with all things wild. “Life of Pi” will be screened on March 3, “Zootopia” on March 4, and “Free Willy,” on March 5. All will be shown at 7pm and ticket price costs QR100 and can be purchased via DFI’s website.

“Life of Pi” is a 2012 adventure-drama film based on Yann Matel’s 2001 novel of the same name. Meanwhile, “Zootopia” is a 2016 animated film, from the largest elephant to the smallest shrew, the city of Zootopia is a mammal metropolis where various animals live and thrive.

Meanwhile, “Free Willy” is a 1993 American family drama film. When maladjusted orphan Jesse vandalises a theme park, he is placed with foster parents and must work at the park to make amends. There he meets Willy, a young Orca whale who has been separated from his family.
