Three teams of DPS-MIS debaters joined debaters of different universities of Qatar at the 4th Qatar Universities Debating League took place at the CNA-Q recently.
The teams debated three rounds, each tackling issues concerning appointments to Shura Council for Qatari Citizens over the age of 18, why in ageing societies the couples need to get financial support to have multiple children and the right to try laws for adoption.
DPS debaters gave their very best, engaged all others enthusiastically and showed their prowess in words and earned respect from all seniors through their style and performances.
Team Farhan & Sandra came fourth followed by Fahad and Nakshatra at ninth and Team Akshal and Priyal at 16th position. In individual category, Farhan came second followed by Sandra and Nakshatra at eighth position, Fahad at 11th, Priyal 29th and Akshal 30th position.
