Kabul: At least one person was killed and 39 wounded as suicide bombers targeted Afghan security force facilities at two locations in Kabul on Wednesday, officials said.

While 37 people were wounded in the first attack, one person was killed and two were wounded in the second blast, according to the public health and interior ministries.

The bombings took place within 20-30 minutes of each other.

The first attacker blew up his explosives-laden vehicle in front of the Kabul Military School located on the western side of the Afghan capital.

Another suicide bomber on foot blew himself up near an Afghan intelligence agency building on the eastern side, media reports quoted a spokesman for the Interior Ministry as saying.
Taliban claimed reasonability of both bombings.
