The Municipal and Environmental Studies Center at the Ministry of Municipality and Environment has started a training programme to develop the capabilities of employees in customer service.
The training programme was organised in collaboration with skilled trainers and specialists in this field to train employees in providing the highest level of customer service.
The programme comprises a number of specialised courses in customer service, including work management and sign language for people with special needs, among others.
The programme focuses more on municipality employees who receive customers.
It explains the importance of customers and how do to deal with different customers.
The employees were trained on how to welcome customers, the importance of not wasting time, and how to provide services to customers by phone and emails.
The Municipal and Environmental Studies Center is keen to execute the programme in a fun training style using modern ways. The centre will evaluate the effectiveness of the training on employees after completing the courses.
