Doha, Qatar: The Supreme Judicial Council (SJC) has announced that it will conduct a public auction of seized valuable items through the Courts Auctions application.
In a social media post, it stated that the auction of gold jewellery will be held in coordination with the Public Prosecution and will take place on Wednesday, April 22, 2026, from 4pm to 7pm.
It added that interested parties may submit applications and participate in the bidding process via the Courts Auctions platform - Mzadat.
Auction items include over 40 pieces, including necklaces, headband, crown, bracelets, and rings of varying sizes and quality. The most expensive item is a 22-karat gold necklace weighing 270.85 grams, with an opening bid of QR93,774, while the least expensive one is an 18-karat gold necklace with earrings, weighing 4.47 grams, with bidding starting at QR1,266.

Users interested in participating in the auction are required to deposit an insurance amount of QR5,000. Those interested in inspecting the items may request this through the application or by calling 41454545.

The SJC stated that this auction is conducted in accordance with applicable judicial orders and regulations governing seizure and confiscation procedures.
