DOHA: A positive response after last week’s defeat in Bahrain saw a convincing victory by 66-10 against Muscat from Doha First Team in the Gulf Premiership match.
Don Blake was the star of the show as he got 10 tries and six converstions.
Try Scorers included 2 from Nick Morgan and Johnny Gait, Alex Natera, Dilanka Wijierkera, Dean Mitchell, Tim Newnham and both Liam and Jamie Frost all scored.
After a fast early start the home team were soon defending a physical Muscat side who came back into the game and had some success at the set pieces.
Doha came back into the match and were denied another great individual try by Tim Newnham for a foot in touch having run the length of the field.
Overall it was a solid performance with good support play and some eye catching running from the back line which helped Doha First Team win.
