Doha: Ooredoo has announced it renewed its long-established support for the Fahad Bin Jassim Kidney Centre in Doha as part of its Ramadan CSR campaign.
Joined by sporting hero Mutaz Essa Barshim, volunteers from the telecommunication leader’s staff attended the Centre to spend time with patients and deliver gift vouchers donated by Ooredoo Group.
Moza Khalid Al Mohannadi, Director CSR, Sponsorship and Media at Ooredoo, said: “We were delighted to once again offer our support to the Fahad Bin Jassim Kidney Centre as part of our annual Ramadan CSR campaign. Ensuring health for all is a key United Nations Sustainable Development Goal, of which Ooredoo is a staunch supporter, and we are proud to take every opportunity to demonstrate this commitment. We thank the Centre for offering us the chance to visit, and hope everyone involved enjoyed it as much as we did.”
Ooredoo has a long history of supporting kidney patients in Qatar, and in 2010 donated the Fahad Bin Jassim Kidney Centre to Hamad Medical Corporation.
