Shanghai - Chinese shares were slightly higher in Friday morning trade, dealers said.
The benchmark Shanghai Composite Index edged up 0.30 percent, or 10.17 points, to 3,359.49.
The Shenzhen Composite Index, which tracks stocks on China's second exchange, added 0.25 percent, or 4.15 points, to 1,688.99.
