Doha, Qatar: The Amir HH Sheikh Tamim bin Hamad Al-Thani received a phone call Thursday from HE President Gustavo Petro of the friendly Republic of Colombia.
During the call, HE the Colombian President affirmed his full solidarity with the State of Qatar, considering the treacherous Israeli attack a cowardly act, especially as it targeted sites hosting peace talks, which hinders peace efforts in the region and the achievement of a ceasefire in the Gaza Strip.
For his part, HH the Amir affirmed that the State of Qatar will take all measures to protect its security and territorial integrity, and maintain its sovereignty in the face of the treacherous Israeli attack.
HH the Amir expressed his thanks and appreciation to HE the President and the friendly Colombian people for their sincere feelings and appreciated solidarity with the State of Qatar and its people.
